Comets crash into sun

This video comes to me from ahrcanum.

Thanks for the comment. I agree, I hope we spend more money on understanding these solar events instead of making our rivers green. Our priorities need re-examination. Excellent article.
Magnetic Storm Prediction for St. Patrick’s Day, CME Approaching Earth
Thanks.

This is an amazing video of comets crashing into the sun causing a HUGE CME. I noticed that the second comet did not eject material out the edges. I suggest this flare may be directed more towards the earth.

Look at those asymptotes. Thanks to the people who built and operate these spacecraft. That is a pretty amazing piece of work you have done for us.

This can induce a large earthquake or power grid failure from 3/16/2010 to 3/18/2010. This will also cause more solar radiation. The only example I can suggest that is like these CME's is, popcorn in a microwave oven. These are dangerous!!! Those are 5 minute data points so these events last for hours.

  1. Dear Aaron: Wow, great video. Wonders what the audio sounds like. What if one of these comet changes the sun or gets into the sun's core? A nova? Super nova? Rebirth of the celestial kind. Looks sort of like what happens during human fertilization! Could the same thing be happening with the sun? Although on the celestial scale. The sun becomes "pregnant" or the comet creates a change in the "oneness" (like the ovum and voila! Birth! When the microscopic is macroscopic! worlds big small same but dimensions different..huh...got me to thinking! hope we are alive another day at least!

  2. I don't think I would compare a comet strike on the sun as similar to pregnancy. I think it is more like a comet striking the Earth.

There is no specialized transfer of information in this interaction. The information transfered in this collision is bosonic; pressure (gluon), temperature (photon), electricity (Z Boson), and magnetic (W+/- Boson).

Organic Chemistry is more about the propagation and transfer of information, then we are willing to admit. It is its own language with very specific rules of communication. These simple rules generate amazing diversity and thought.

We see similar processes in Inorganic Chemistry, we just call them diodes, capacitors and resistors. We can create neural networks with analog electronic parts.

    Thanks for the thought.
